Piper Aircraft Update This technical update on the PA-46 product line will examine the items that directly affect aircraft operation and maintenance, including service bulletins, product improvements and areas of continued focus within the fleet. Attendees will gain deeper insight into how these developments are evaluated, prioritized and implemented, along with their practical implications for PA-46 owners. |

10:00 |
IFR in Europe: The Reality Behind the Charts Flying IFR in Europe often looks straightforward on paper, but reality adds layers: slot times, reroutes, airspace complexity and regional nuances that don’t show up in the briefing package. This session explores how experienced operators navigate the gap between filed and flown. Expect practical insights on managing expectations, staying ahead of the airplane and maintaining flexibility in the ATC system. |
| 10:45 | Morning Coffee Break |
| 11:15 |
Market Update Alexander will present a current snapshot of the PA-46 market, including trends in pricing, inventory and buyer behavior across Europe and beyond. We’ll look at what’s driving demand, how different variants are performing and what owners and prospective buyers should be watching. Whether you’re thinking about buying, selling or simply staying informed, this session provides useful context for today’s market dynamics. |
| 12:00 | Lunch |
| 13:00 |
Minimizing Maintenance Downtime This session focuses on how experienced owners reduce downtime through smarter planning, better coordination and strong relationships with maintenance providers. From the provider perspective, we’ll explore practical strategies such as anticipating parts needs and avoiding common bottlenecks that keep aircraft grounded longer than necessary. Panelists will also discuss the added complexity of operating across borders, including differences between UK and EASA environments, parts availability and approval processes that can impact turnaround times. |
| 13:45 |
Stress Management for Single Pilot Operations At altitude, the airplane is capable, but the pilot remains the limiting factor. This session dives into the cognitive and physiological demands of single-pilot PA-46 operations: fatigue, task saturation, automation management and the subtle erosion of performance over time. We’ll discuss how pilots manage themselves as carefully as they manage the aircraft and the techniques they use to stay sharp when it matters most. |
| 14:30 | Afternoon Coffee Break |
| 15:00 | The Connected Cockpit: Apps, Data and Workflow Integration
|
| 15:45 |
PA-46 Safety & Accident Review A candid look at recent PA-46 accidents and incidents, with a focus on what actually went wrong and why. We’ll go beyond the headlines to examine decision chains, operational context and recurring patterns specific to M-Class flying. The goal isn’t hindsight criticism, but forward-looking clarity. What traps still catch experienced pilots and how can we recognize them earlier? |

Nearby Brugge is a top tourist attraction for non-flying companions. Given its medieval charm, it tends to be overly crowded and better suited for a day trip from Oostende.
Registration fee: $350 per person (rate for PMOPA members* and their companions)
The Registration Fee includes:
If you need to cancel your registration, the following refunds will be applied, based on the date you cancel:
PMOPA incurs costs for an event, even if a registrant cancels. The closer to the event date that the registration is cancelled, the higher the costs incurred by PMOPA. Cancellation fees help offset those costs. PMOPA leadership may consider exceptions to this policy in limited cases of hardship (e.g., hospitalization, death in immediate family) although exceptions to this policy are not guaranteed to be granted.
PMOPA Regional Event sponsorships are ideal for companies that support the ownership, operation, maintenance, training, and safety of Piper M-Class aircraft and want meaningful, face-to-face engagement with committed aircraft owners and pilots. Sponsoring a Regional Event allows companies to connect face-to-face with engaged aircraft owners in a setting that encourages conversation, learning, and long-term relationships. Sponsorship support helps PMOPA deliver high-quality programming while giving sponsors visibility with a discerning audience that values expertise, service, and products that enhance safety and ownership experience.
Benefits of becoming a sponsor include:
Sponsorship: $1,000 also includes one event registration (PMOPA member rate*).
Additional sponsorship opportunities can be created to meet a sponsoring company's goals. Please contact PMOPA's Mike Nichols to discuss sponsorship ideas you would like to propose.
* The non-member event registration fee is $300 higher than the member rate and includes one year of PMOPA membership.
